Keynote speech: "The Arab Gulf States - reliable partners in uncertain times?" with dr Jeremias Kettner, political advisor and Middle East expert.

In a world shaped by global challenges such as climate change, pandemics or armed conflicts, there is too often a zero-sum understanding of international cooperation. The current pandemic should have shown at the latest that the credo "The winner takes it all" does not exist. Because even if individual actors in a “war of narratives” try to usurp the sovereignty of interpretation, the great challenges of our time can only be solved through multilateral cooperation.

Following our delegation trip to Dubai  we would like to take up the topic of "Gulf States" first.

With our new series of lectures, we would like to contribute to discussing current geostrategic developments and opportunities and to give more input to our monthly topics together with you.
